But it's not broken!

Hands aren't supposed to look like this, are they?


I'm thinking of surgery for it; it would be more functional.

If I had thought about it at the time, 2006, I could've had it done when I had the tip of the thumb removed.

Hrm. Maybe I should try finding one of my neck. That one I DID break...

Nice, it makes me want to have my own x-ray machine. Like they used to have at shoe stores.

Is the bottom one later than the top, it looks to have less density of bone - have you had a bone density test?

Elizabeth, I had three pictures taken at the same time, just in different positions. One where the hand was relatively flat, one at roughly 45°, and one at roughly 90°.

They had x-ray machines at shoe stores where you grew up? Interesting; I've never heard of that before.

I had a bone density test about a year before I started working out at SCI-FIT. It did show some bone loss in my right hip, but not a "significant" amount. And my doctor did put me on some type of medication for it.
